Samuli has been working in the United Arab Emirates, Russia, USA, Ukraine, Finland and Belgium, as well as completed studies in China, India, South Korea, Denmark, USA and Finland.

Detailed Bio:

Samuli started his marketing career in 2002 in the USA by creating a digital marketing strategy and a website for a construction company in Illinois. In 2003, Samuli worked as a marketing coordinator for an international company operating in the field of medical devices and consulting in Brussels, Belgium. During the same year, Samuli joined TNS Group as a market researcher in Finland. In 2005, Samuli co-founded a media & marketing consultancy offering website, animation and marketing services to local Finnish and international companies.

From 2007 until 2021 Samuli worked in Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and other CIS countries holding various senior management positions (Head of Business Unit, Vice President, Partner, Deputy CEO, Managing Director, Cluster Managing Director) in the field of financial services, legal services, business administration, management consulting and marketing services.

In 2017, Samuli was appointed as the Managing Director for Russia and CIS for a global leader in financial and international business services. In 2021 Samuli became the Managing Director for Middle East and North Africa (MENA) and relocated to Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Samuli is an active private real estate investor in Northern Poland (Tricity) by acquiring, renovating and renting out apartments for both short and long term (first investments in 2015).

Samuli has a bachelor’s degree in international business and marketing (Finland, 2006) and two master’s degrees in social sciences (Finland, 2014) and in economics & business administration (Finland, 2018). Samuli has completed a mini-MBA on social media marketing (US, 2012) and obtained a professional certificate on digital media marketing (US, 2013). Samuli has also completed study exchange periods in China, India, South Korea, Denmark and Russia. Samuli is a Google Adwords certified search engine professional and qualified Bing Ads accredited professional.

From 2016 until 2020, Samuli was a board member of Suomen Venajan Klubi Ry, which is a powerful non-profit organization supporting the development of business between Finland and Russia.
